A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Yasu Storks and Lana'i City Pineapples.
Yasu turned a good effort from starter Matt Mayer into a win over the Lana'i City Pineapples at Dole Park. The final score was 4-1. Ren-qing Seema recorded his 12th save for Yasu.
Yasu third baseman Charles Gustafson delivered a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth. Overall, he went 3 for 4, picking up 1 home run, 1 single, and 1 double. He scored 1 run and knocked in 2.
"I'm proud to be a part of what we've got going on here," Gustafson told the Yasu Times. "It's a great group and we're happy with the win."
