Stambaugh Whacks 2 Home Runs in 7-3 Win
The Kilauea Volcanoes used the hitting of left fielder Jeffrey Stambaugh to subdue the Shirakawa Halberds, 7-3. For the game, Stambaugh was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3. Yaichiro Shiraishi was the winner. He's now 1-6. The loser was 21-year old right-handed pitcher Jorge Aguilar. Emílio Reyes earned the save for Kilauea, his 3rd of the year.

Stambaugh contributed a big hit, a 2-run home run, for Kilauea in the top of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, Stambaugh took a fastball from Jorge Aguilar and stroked the home run to left. His 10th home run of the season allowed the Volcanoes to leap in front, 2-1.
