Rallying Imperialists Get 4-3 Win
The Ewa Beach Imperialists faced a tenacious opponent in Mokule'ia pitcher John Reed, but still scratched out a win at Lost Island Ballpark by a final score of 4-3 in 13 innings. Reed went 5 innings and allowed 3 runs. The win was credited to Rubén Salas in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Doug Brown took the loss. Ewan Quigley finished the game for Ewa Beach and earned his 1st save.

Roberto Sánchez came through with a big-time hit for Ewa Beach. The designated hitter smacked a solo home run in the top of the 13th inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Exhilarating win," said Sánchez.

Ewa Beach is now 40-24, while Mokule'ia is 41-23.
