A good performance from third baseman Rien Leeuwenburgh helped the Arlington Bureaucrats defeat the Scottish Claymores, 6-1. Leeuwenburgh went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Bureaucrats. Timothy O'Slattery got the save, his 2nd in 4 chances. Arlington is now 47-47, Scottish 52-40.
Leeuwenburgh contributed in the bottom of the second. With a runner on 1st, he hit a double. It was one at-bat among others that helped Arlington get the win.
