At Graviton High, the Magami Ako and Mexicali Shmoes were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

Jorge Díaz powered the Mexicali Shmoes to a win over the Magami Ako. The final score was 7-3. The Mexicali right fielder, who is tied for 10th in the BCL in triples with 5, was a force to be reckoned with. He banged out 2 extra-base hits, including 1 home run and 1 double. Bartolo Flores, the winning pitcher, improved to 3-0. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 8 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 2 and walking 0. Juan Ávila finished the game for Mexicali and earned his 8th save.

The game was at a stalemate until left fielder Paul Everhart came to bat in the top of the eighth. Facing Magami pitcher Mitchell Grimes, he hit a 0-2 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Mexicali on top, 4-3.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Everhart said after the game.
