Sioux Falls center fielder Millard Martin had a good game, even if his team did not. The Lakota dropped a 6-5 decision to Henderson at Ballpark of Henderson. Martin slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The first-place Fighting Scotts sport a record of 59-45.

Marvin Sykes was the walk-off hero for Henderson. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Fighting Scotts designated hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said Henderson manager Félix Maese.
