Thrilling Walk-Off Win for Olympians
The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.

A 4-RBI performance from the 23-year old catcher Fernando Macías helped the Nagano Olympians beat the Gakidou Onryou, 9-8. The winner was Shane Sheldon in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Simon Hasted took the loss.

Guillermo Oilvares was the walk-off hero for Nagano. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Olympians first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place went bonkers at the end," Oilvares said.

The Olympians saw their record improve to 38-56.
