Salton Sea Beats Takaoka, 3-2
|
Salton Sea and Takaoka took Mother Nature's best shot and still managed to complete their ballgame.
Salton Sea Kilmers starter Yu-hsui Ruan pitched his team past the Takaoka Shiko, 3-2. Salton Sea now has a record of 49-38 with the win.
Foppe Adriaanse, who is tied for 10th in the BCL in home runs with 13, had a direct impact on the outcome. Adriaanse contributed a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put Salton Sea up, 3-0.
"Helping the team win is what it's all about," said Adriaanse.
