Olympians Knock Off Ako at Nagano Olympic Stadium

It might have been a rain-shorted game, but the hometown crowd didn't seem to mind.
The Nagano Olympians defeated the Magami Ako, 3-1, in Baja Cali League action at Nagano Olympic Stadium. Nagano pitcher Yong-kook Park had a standout performance. Park, who is tied for 5th in the BCL in complete games with 1, went the distance for Nagano. He gave up 1 run on 2 hits.
Fernando Macías took Magami hurler Francisco Rodríguez deep in the bottom of the fourth. His 2-run home run put the Olympians on top, 3-1. In all, Macías had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 2.
"It's good to win," Macías told the Nagano Daily News. "I like to have fun doing it."
Today's win puts Nagano at 35-54, while Magami falls to 40-49.
