The London Underground had to reckon with Scottish Claymores hurler Naoaki Morita. Morita, who is tied for 5th in the IL in complete games with 3, overwhelmed the opposition in the 7-1 Claymores triumph. The first-place Claymores, at 93-60, lead the Imperial League Trans Atlantic by 10 games.

Morita was the winner. He's now 17-7, after putting the London offense in a vise grip. Over 9 innings, he gave up 1 run on 4 hits, while racking up 7 Ks.

"A confident pitcher is a dangerous thing," said Scottish manager Germán Hernández. "That's what Naoaki is right now."
