The Scottish Claymores got a superb performance from pitcher Yvon Fortier, but the Hartford Harpoon still won the game, 7-5. Fortier threw 6.1 innings of 5-hit ball. Hartford reliever Jeremy Anderson was the winner. His record is now 4-3. The losing pitcher was Norm Batstone. Théo Ribeiro was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 6 of 7 save opportunities.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Hang-ki Fu? The Hartford shortstop had a 2-run double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Harpoon on top, 7-5. For the game, Fu had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
