Spirited fans greeted the Atsumi Autobots for their clash with the Osakasayama Swamp Dragons.

The Osakasayama Swamp Dragons beat the Atsumi Autobots, 13-5, at Iacon Yards. Osakasayama right fielder Walt Nelligan had the hot bat. He went 4-4 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 6. Sekien Sai, who went 5 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 5 runs on 7 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 5. His record now stands at 3-3. Momoru Okada got the save, the 1st for him this season.

With Osakasayama leading 5-4 in the top of the fourth, Nelligan hit a fastball from Carlos Cruz for a grand slam home run. It was his 6th home run of the season and put the Swamp Dragons ahead, 9-4.

"When I'm in the lineup, I always feel like we're going to win the game," said Nelligan.

The Swamp Dragons improved their record to 30-20 with the win over Atsumi.
