Storks Spoil Great Performance by Battle
Despite a great performance by Hilo first baseman Mike Battle, the Yasu Storks defeated the Hoops by the score of 7-4 at Hilo Ballpark. Battle belted 2 home runs. Ren-qing Seema earned the save for Yasu, his 8th of the year. The Storks sit in 4th place in the Hawaiian League Ninja with a record of 19-25.

Emílio Flores came through with a big-time hit for Yasu. The designated hitter smacked a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 5-2. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

Yasu manager Toshiki Soh was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.
