Kilauea got a terrific game from second baseman Fernando Deleón. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Yasu, 6-5. Deleón went 3-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Yasu pitcher Ed Lowry got the win. He's now 1-1. Adugna Kwach was tagged with the loss. Yasu is now 17-24, while Kilauea is 9-32.

Yasu got a knockout punch from Bob Simpson. The right fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Simpson.
