The home crowd had a good time watching the Magami Ako and Gakidou Onryou get after it.
The Gakidou Onryou knocked off the Magami Ako, 5-1, in Baja Cali League action at Gakidou Fields. Gakidou pitcher and Bearsden, Scotland, native Archie MacGachan had an outstanding performance. With the win, Gakidou pushed its record to 42-41.
MacGachan threw well for Gakidou, thwarting the Magami offense. The right-hander tossed 97 pitches over 8 innings. He allowed just 1 run on 4 hits.
Gakidou manager Henry Carter commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."
