Hoops Lose as Pineapples Stage Late Rally
The Lana'i City Pineapples used the hitting of designated hitter Brad Barraclough to subdue the Hilo Hoops, 6-4. For the game, Barraclough was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Pineapples improved their record to 20-16 with the win over Hilo.

Barraclough had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 2-0 slider from Sadao Takahashi, he banged a 3-run home run to right-center, giving the Pineapples a 5-4 lead. It was the 11th home run of the year for Barraclough.

Barraclough called it "a solid win."
