Waimalu Nene starter Daniel Carbone had all his pitches working at Field of the Storks. His stellar performance paved the way for an easy 9-2 Waimalu win over the Yasu Storks. Lawrence Hayes nailed down his 2nd save. With the win, Waimalu has a record of 22-16. Yasu falls to 15-23.

Waimalu used a clutch at-bat from Sinclair Krijger to capture the win. The designated hitter hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Nene ahead, 2-1. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Carbone.
