Claymores Earn 6-2 Win Versus Florida
The Scottish Claymores earned a win at The Castle, stopping the Florida Farstriders, 6-2. Starting pitcher René Padilla played a big role in his team's success. Sen Fukuda closed out the game, earning his 1st save. The first-place Farstriders now sit at 64-21.

Júlio Luna, who is tied for 6th in the IL with a .869 OPS, took Florida hurler Edgardo Trevino deep in the bottom of the fourth. His 3-run home run put the Claymores on top, 3-0. In all, Luna had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.

"We had a nice day," said Scottish skipper Germán Hernández.
