The El Cajon Virus defeated the Tijuana Saguaros, 6-4, at Ballpark of El Cajon. El Cajon right fielder Art Kilvington had a superb performance. He was 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The win was credited to 21-year old right-handed pitcher Dan Parker in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Josh Lindsay took the loss. The win puts El Cajon at 41-38 this season.

With El Cajon trailing 3-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Kilvington hit a fastball from Josh Lindsay for a grand slam home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Virus ahead, 4-3.

"It was a solid, all-around game for us," said El Cajon manager Francisco Sousa.
