The El Cajon Virus and Tijuana Saguaros needed extra innings at Target Field to determine a winner.

El Cajon starter Matsuo Yamashita pitched well against the Tijuana Saguaros at Target Field. The left-hander led his team to a win, 9-3, in 10 innings. Neil Taylor, credited with the win in relief, is now 3-4. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings.

El Cajon relied on the bat of She Le to get the win. The first baseman ripped a 2-run triple in the top of the tenth inning to put the Virus ahead, 5-3. For the game, Le had 1 double and 1 triple in 5 at-bats.

"When you think about it," Le said, "there's often a fine line between triumph and tragedy. One pitch, one swing of the bat can make all the difference."
