Conditions were not ideal but Tijuana and Nagano were able to put their game in the books.

The Saguaros grabbed a win, 4-2, at Nagano Olympic Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Nagano pitcher Lorenzo Sánchez. Sánchez went 5.2 innings and allowed 1 run. The Saguaros improved their record to 26-46 with the win over Nagano.

Tijuana used the timely hitting of Felipe Díaz to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Saguaros on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

Díaz attributed the win to his team's "steely resolve."
