The Salton Sea Kilmers wiggled past the National City Bankers, 6-5, in 10 innings at Bankers Ballpark. The win was highlighted by the performance of Salton Sea pitcher Yuji Tanabe. The win went to Jesús Elías in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Yifu Hsi took the loss. The save went to Scottie McVay, number 17 for him.

Sam MacFadzean came through with a big-time hit for Salton Sea. The center fielder smacked a solo home run in the top of the tenth inning to give his team the lead, 6-5. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Yuji made some big pitches when he needed to," said Kilmers manager Powell Clark.

At 38-30, the Kilmers find themselves in first place in the Baja Cali League SoCal.
