Morimoto Rips 2 Home Runs in 6-3 Lakota Triumph

The Sioux Falls Lakota defeated the Thornton Sun Dogs by the score of 6-3, with the biggest share of the credit going to left fielder Kazu Morimoto. Morimoto went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Lakota on the day. Earning his 20th save of the year was Arthur Cogan. The 4th-place Lakota improved to 47-46.
Sadaharu Ando, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2038 draft, aided the Sioux Falls cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the second baseman drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances.
