Anguirus Suffer One-Run Loss at Glendale
The Glendale Skyelanders, despite a fine performance by Shizuoka pitcher Tetsuzan Hashimoto, grabbed a 1-0 win at Skyelanders Ballpark. Hashimoto allowed 1 run over 7 innings. Patrício Zeta, the winner, improved to 9-6. He held the Anguirus to no runs on 3 hits over 5.1 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 2. The win for the Skyelanders lifted their record to 46-44.

Seung-hak Chin drove in one run for Glendale. The 28-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Tetsuzan Hashimoto. It was his 2nd RBI of the season.

"Runs were tough to come by," said Chin. "But we scored just enough to win."
