The home crowd was treated to a thrilling, walk-off win.

The Sioux Falls Lakota had to overcome a good performance from Niigata pitcher Shigetoki Takahashi to claim a 2-1 win at Lakota Ballpark. Takahashi went 5 innings and allowed 1 run. Sioux Falls reliever Arthur Cogan picked up the win, raising his record to 6-4. Shawn Mosley was tagged with the loss.

The Lakota got a clutch hit from first baseman Sadaharu Ando. In the bottom of the 12th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Lakota.

"It took some blood and sweat, but we got what we were after," said Lakota manager Jorge Garza.

Sioux Falls, at 42-46, sits in 4th place in the Rocky Mountain League North.
