Grizzlies Prevail, 6-4, Over Provo
The West Valley City Grizzlies topped the Provo Missionaries, 6-4, in Rocky Mountain League action at Ballpark of West Valley City. The game was highlighted by the performance of West Valley City pitcher Thomas Teall. Toshikuni Wada earned the save, his 1st, for the Grizzlies. The win for the Grizzlies raised their record to 42-41.

Carlos Castro had a big 2-run home run for the Grizzlies in the bottom of the fifth inning. With West Valley City leading 3-1 and a runner on 1st, he sized up a fastball from 28-year old right-handed pitcher Pedro Molina and punished it. The result was his 2nd home run of the season, which put the Grizzlies on top, 5-1.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said West Valley City manager Carlos Aquino.
