Missionaries Use Late Surge to Win
The Provo Missionaries faced a tough opponent in Namuko pitcher José Valle, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Puckmen Ballpark by a final score of 3-2. Valle went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. Tringen Presser picked up his 4th save of the season. The win puts the Missionaries at 38-38, while the Puckmen drop to 34-42.

Provo needed the clutch hitting of Sung-hyo Chong to notch the win. The second baseman hammered a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Missionaries on top, 3-2. For the game, Chong had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
