Sioux Falls third baseman Qi-chen Zhào played a vital role in his team's 7-4 conquest of Namuko. He was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Sioux Falls. Arthur Cogan sewed up the save, his 15th. Their 34-36 record puts the Lakota 4th in the Rocky Mountain League North.
Sioux Falls used a clutch at-bat from Han-soo Yi to capture the win. The first baseman hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the second inning to put the Lakota ahead, 4-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
"There's a lot of passion in our clubhouse," said Yi. "When we put it together we're a great ball club."
