|
Masujiro Ohayashi, who is tied for 5th in the RML in wins with 6, had a strong outing for the Sioux Falls Lakota against the Racine Lakers at Lakota Ballpark. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 5-3 win. Arthur Cogan, credited with the save, is now 12 for 13 in save opportunities. The Lakota are now 28-32, while the Lakers fall to 37-23.
Sioux Falls designated hitter Qi-chen Zhào contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 57th hit of the season and put the Lakota ahead, 2-0.
"I was just trying to execute one pitch at a time," said Ohayashi.
