Namuko Puckmen starter Orlando Ruíz was on his game, helping his team beat the Thornton Sun Dogs, 3-2. With this game in the books, Namuko is 25-33, Thornton 31-27.
Jim Robinson was the walk-off hero for Namuko. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Puckmen third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We did a lot of really good things and it was a good win," said Puckmen manager Jerome Browning.
