Mahi-Mahi Eke Out 7-6 Win Versus Kilauea
The Maui Mahi-Mahi topped the Kilauea Volcanoes, 7-6, at Kokua Gardens. Maui designated hitter Connor MacLaren was a spark plug for the offense. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The 5th-place Mahi-Mahi now have a record of 9-18.

MacLaren contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Maui in the bottom of the third. With his team trailing 1-0, MacLaren took a fastball from Kurt Knox and stroked the home run to left-center. His 5th home run of the season allowed the Mahi-Mahi to leap in front, 3-1.

"I'm proud to be a part of what we've got going on here," MacLaren told the Maui Citizen. "It's a great group and we're happy with the win."
