The Atsumi Autobots knocked off the Kailua Hanso, 4-2, in Hawaiian League action at Blue Birds Ballpark. Atsumi pitcher and Bayamón, Puerto Rico, native Vincente Salazar had an outstanding performance. Salazar picked up the win for Atsumi, going 5.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 3 hits. He now sports a record of 2-0. Earning his 6th save of the year was Alan Gardner.

Atsumi used a clutch at-bat from David Cummings to capture the win. The catcher hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Autobots ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"I really like what we did out there today," Salazar said after the game.
