Imperialists designated hitter Ron Englert left his mark on his team's 10-5 win over the Mauna Loa Vulcans. Englert, who is tied for 2nd in the HL in doubles with 4, was 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for Ewa Beach in the contest. The Imperialists, now 11-5, have been red hot.

Ewa Beach used the hitting of Vasil Derks to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the third inning to put the Imperialists on top, 7-0. For the game, Derks had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Ewa Beach manager Jonathan Cook.
