Mahi-Mahi Embarrass Autobots in 14-2 Flogging
At Kokua Gardens, the Atsumi Autobots and Maui Mahi-Mahi were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Maui Mahi-Mahi blasted the Atsumi Autobots, 14-2. Ippolito Vaccarini was one of the hitting stars. He went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4 for Maui. The win went to Ray Forbes in relief, making him now 1-1. Cam Allen took the loss for Atsumi.

Vaccarini contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Maui in the bottom of the first. With his team trailing 1-0, Vaccarini took a fastball from Cam Allen and stroked the home run to right. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Mahi-Mahi to leap in front, 3-1.

"Every manager loves to see an offensive outburst from his team," said Maui skipper Eddy McBride.

The Autobots drop to 8-8 and continue their mediocre start to the 2042 season.
