Leo Brisbourne never let the Storks get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Coconuts to a win, 2-0. The winning pitcher was Brisbourne, now 3-1. He tossed 6 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 3. Ethan Simms recorded the save, his 1st.

Chris Nelson had a big run-scoring double for the Coconuts in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Waikiki leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 22-year old right-handed pitcher Ronald Pittman and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Coconuts ahead, 2-0.

"I'm happy we won," said Brisbourne. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."

The Coconuts, now 12-5, have been sizzling early on.
