McPherson Brilliant as Swamp Dragons Top Volcanoes, 2-0
|
Starting pitcher Rick McPherson did his part in helping the Osakasayama Swamp Dragons thwart the Kilauea Volcanoes, 2-0. To call the performance of the 2-15 Volcanoes woeful so far is an understatement.
McPherson allowed no runs on 5 hits over 7.1 innings for Osakasayama. With the win, the southpaw is 2-0 with an ERA of 1.59.
"Rick had good arm action, good stuff," said Osakasayama manager Shingen Okamoto.
