Skidding Volcanoes Lose 10th Straight
The Ewa Beach Imperialists coasted to a win over the Kilauea Volcanoes, 10-3. Tadahisa Nakamura had a good day at the plate for Ewa Beach. He was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. José Díaz, credited with the win, is now 1-0. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits in 9 innings. With the loss, Kilauea falls to 0-10.

Ewa Beach used a timely hit from 22-year old left fielder Jeff McCoy to get the win. The center fielder delivered a run-scoring triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the Imperialists on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was huge.
