The exploits of left fielder Héctor Rosales helped the Kauai Monsters defeat the Shirakawa Halberds, 7-2. Rosales went 2-4 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 4. Tomoyuki Taniguchi had a big 2-run home run for the Monsters in the bottom of the second inning.
