Barrow and Anchorage got after it at Citizens Ballpark.

The Barrow Arctic Blast did not need a Herculean effort from starter Shane Posey, not with their offense scoring runs at will. Barrow dispatched the Anchorage Mighty Moose, 14-2. In 6 innings, Posey surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 3. He allowed 2 runs. Donald Bradley was credited with the save for Barrow, his 1st of the season.

The Arctic Blast got a big hit from right fielder Bryant Allen. Facing Anchorage pitcher Enrique Muñóz in the top of the seventh, Allen pounded a 3-run home run to left-center. His 13th home run of the season put the Arctic Blast ahead, 12-2.

"I have nothing to complain about," said winning manager Azumamaro Fujita after the game.

Barrow bumps their record to 51-56 with the win.
