The Whitehorse Explorers and Cold Bay Eleven completed their game despite the inclement weather.
Pitcher Matsu Fujita was sensational for the Whitehorse Explorers in his team's 3-1 triumph over the Cold Bay Eleven. Fujita earned the win. The losing streak for Cold Bay has now reached 4 games.
Whitehorse used the hitting of Jesús Rico to pick up the win. The second baseman clubbed a solo home run in the top of the second inning to put the Explorers on top, 2-0. For the game, Rico had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"Matsu knows how to get ahead of hitters, stay ahead of hitters, and put people out," said Whitehorse manager Larry Martin.
