The Anchorage Mighty Moose and Kenai Traders put on quite a show.

The Anchorage Mighty Moose scored a tight, 1-0 win versus the Kenai Traders at Citizens Ballpark. Anchorage pitcher Pepe Sánchez held his own in the contest. Pat Clark claimed the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record stands at 4-1.

The Mighty Moose got a clutch hit from right fielder Billy Davis. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Mighty Moose.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Anchorage skipper Jason Meléndez.

Anchorage sits in second place in the Alaskan League Oiler at 53-43.
