Soo-keun Yi, who is tied for 7th in the AL in wins with 8, had a strong outing for the Skagway Prospectors against the Sitka Capitals at Prospector Park. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 6-3 win. The winning pitcher was Yi, now 8-5. He tossed 7.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 10. Armando Domínguez finished the game for Skagway and earned his 15th save.

Skagway got a lift in the bottom of the sixth from third baseman Cipriano Román, who hit a fastball to right for a 2-run double. His 5th double of the season put the Prospectors up, 4-2.

"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Sitka manager Raleigh Collins. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."

The 4th-place Prospectors improved to 42-51.
