Winds Suffer 3-0 Loss to Sledge Dogs

The Wasilla Sledge Dogs picked up a win at Sullivan Brothers Stadium, knocking off the Taku Winds, 3-0. Starting pitcher Alfredo Flores was a big reason why. Xing-li Kuo wrapped it up, recording his 4th save. Wasilla, at 44-49, holds down 4th place in the Alaskan League Oiler.
Matt Latham cracked a home run off Didier Peter in the top of the first. His 2-run blast put the Sledge Dogs on top, 2-0. In all, Latham had 2 singles in addition to the home run, while going 3 for 4.
"Alfredo is a gamer," said Wasilla manager Juan Rodríguez.
