With first baseman Kane Tindale leading the charge, the Whitehorse Explorers defeated the Barrow Arctic Blast, 9-1, at Ballpark of Carthage. Tindale, who is tied for 8th in the AL with a .369 on-base percentage, went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Nunzio Muti was the winning pitcher. Over 6.2 innings, he allowed 1 run on 3 hits, with 6 walks and 2 strikeouts. Their 48-43 record puts the Explorers third in the Alaskan League Fisher.
Whitehorse used the hitting of He Tso to pick up the win. The shortstop clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Explorers on top, 4-1. For the game, Tso had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.
