Multi-HR Day for Mercer as Bowheads Overpower Eagles, 4-1

The home crowd had a good time watching the Akutan Island Eagles and Kivalina Bowheads get after it.
Lee Mercer knocked in all 4 runs for the Kivalina Bowheads, helping them beat the Akutan Island Eagles, 4-1. The Bowheads saw their win-loss record go to 31-48. At the same time, the Eagles fell to 24-55.
Early in the game, Mercer had a 3-run home run for Kivalina. It was his 12th home run of the season and put the Bowheads on top, 3-0.
"Nice to keep our winning streak intact," said Mercer.
