The Whitehorse Explorers picked up a win at Sullivan Brothers Stadium, knocking off the Taku Winds, 5-4. Starting pitcher Brad Palmer was a big reason why. Nori Kokawa nailed down his 1st save. The Winds, at 27-33, have lost 5 straight games.

Whitehorse starter Brad Palmer was a master of his craft. The left-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings.

"Brad was hitting his spots and everything had life," said Whitehorse manager Larry Martin.
