Castro Pops Two Homers in 11-4 Win for Barrow
The Barrow Arctic Blast defeated the Anchorage Mighty Moose by the score of 11-4, with the biggest share of the credit going to catcher Pedro Castro. Castro hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Arctic Blast on the day. The winning pitcher was 19-year old right-handed pitcher Jay Gallimore. He tossed 94 pitches over 6.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 1 hit. The Arctic Blast win now puts them at 31-31.

With Barrow leading 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Castro hit a fastball from Roberto Guzmán for a 2-run home run. It was his 19th home run of the season and put the Arctic Blast ahead, 3-0.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Castro.
