With designated hitter Dermott Isworth leading the charge, the Kenai Traders defeated the Akutan Island Eagles, 12-0, at Metros Ballpark. Isworth, who is tied for 10th in the AL in triples with 2, went 4-4 with 2 home runs, 2 singles, and a walk, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice. Today's win puts Kenai at 27-22, while Akutan Island falls to 15-34.

With Kenai leading 7-0 in the bottom of the seventh, Isworth came up to bat against Akutan Island pitcher Rob Wells. Isworth hit a curveball to left-center for a grand slam home run. His 8th home run of the season put the Traders on top, 11-0.
