The Wasilla Sledge Dogs topped the Taku Winds, 8-2, the lion's share of the credit going to left fielder Josuke Kamihara. On the day, Kamihara went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Sledge Dogs. The win makes Wasilla 23-26.

With Wasilla leading 3-0 in the bottom of the fourth, Kamihara hit a fastball from Gary Luker for a 3-run home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Sledge Dogs ahead, 6-0.
