Thunderclouds Ballpark was the site for Alaskan League action featuring the Cold Bay Eleven and Taku Winds.
The Taku Winds picked up a win at Thunderclouds Ballpark, downing the Cold Bay Eleven, 4-1. On the mound for Taku was right-hander Tobei Suzuki, who played a pivotal role in the win. Gary Luker earned his 12th save, after closing out the game.
Suzuki delivered a quality start for Taku. The 6-foot-0 right-hander allowed 1 earned run on 2 hits over 7.1 innings of work.
"Tobei answered the bell," said Taku manager Josh Christensen.
With the win, the Winds have a record of 17-16.
